We invite you submit an abstract and subsequently a full paper. The full papers will be peer-reviewed by two expert reviewers including members of the National Scientific and Local Organising Committees

Select ICM13 Abstract for oral presentation or ICM13 Abstract for poster presentation as presentation type when submitting your abstract; select ICM13 Full paper when submitting full paper.

Publication in proceedings and journal special issues

Note that the full papers will be published in a conference proceeding indexed by major databases, and selected papers will be considered for special issues of reputed international journals (in extended form following journal peer-review process).

Best Paper Awards

One key aim of ICM is to recognise and reward high-quality research and innovation in Australia and worldwide and engage early career researchers and graduate students into research, foster young researchers and recognise their achievements by presenting the ICM best paper awards.  

Student Award

ICM-13 will present awards for the 'Best Student Papers'.

  • One first prize ($500.00) 

  • One second prize ($400.00)

  • Two third prizes (each $300.00)

To be eligible for the award, the student must be the primary author (first author) in the full paper and the paper must be presented at the congress by the student. The award will be decided by a review committee.
